Pacquereau Bay is an anchorage located on the east side of St. Thomas Harbor. This bay is well protected and less noisy. It is smaller but great for those who need a quiet place to anchor their boats. When you visit the Virgin Islands with a bucket list, add Pacquereau Bay to the top of your list. This anchorage delivers pristine water and white sandy beaches that leave you in awe every time.

Navigation

Pacquereau Bay is only 3 km and nine minutes away from St. Thomas Cruise Ship Port. A great advantage if you are looking for a quick stopover from your ship. Take a boat tour of St. Thomas and visit nearby attractions like the historic island of Hassel, Blackbeard Beach, Secret Harbor Beach, where you get to visit nature or just have a restful day.

Where to Anchor

For small boats, this is a great place to drop your, anchor, if you’re worried about the swells from cruise ships and larger boats.  Pacquereau Bay is 0.35 km long and has a good current for paddle boarding and swimming. This bay has a boat ramp and can be reached by boat, car, or by walking.

St Thomas Bay is a popular cruise ship stop and as a result, it is always crowded. Pacquereau Bay offers tourists an opportunity to enjoy a lounge on the beach in peace and quiet.
