Overview
This private Marina is linked to the Sapphire Beach Resort at the East End of St Thomas. The docks have recently undergone renovation and the resort has all the amenities you’d expect. There’s a good selection of restaurants and bars on the property. Condo rentals on the resort can be booked if needed.
General Information
You’ll find water, fuelling, and maintenance nearby, as well as laundry facilities and restrooms. The town of Red Hook is just 1.5 miles away, so you can stock up on groceries, and rent any sports equipment you need there. You’ll also find a pharmacy and an urgent care clinic

Where to Anchor
There are 65 berths and 200’of linear docks. The marina can accommodate power and sailing yachts up to 68’. Water and fuel are supplied to each slip. There’s also a dinghy dock and private security in the marina.
Places to Stay
Sapphire Beach Resort
The condos in the resort will provide you with the best views of the beach. You can book Building A, B, C, D, E, or F. All the buildings except F will provide you a direct view of the beach. The condominiums in the beach resort are the most expensive.
Crystal Cove
The condos in Crystal Cove are moderately priced and offer both 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom units. Crystal cove will provide you with panoramic views of the beach and the island.
Sapphire Village
The units in Sapphire Village are the least expensive ones and has two beautiful pools; it also has a calming natural view.
Beaches
Cowpet Beach
A small, peaceful beach lined with coconut trees. Restaurants, shopping, and water sports equipment rentals can be found close by. The swimming area is sandy, with rocky areas which are good for snorkelling at both ends. The water is usually calm.
Things to Do
Jet Skiing
Sapphire Beach Marina has Jet Ski rental services and most of the jet skis are found in front of the beach resort. You can hire the jet skis for a couple of hours or the whole day depending on your schedule.
Golf: Mahogany Run
The one 18-hole golf course on St Thomas is only 3km to the north of the Sapphire Beach Marina. With challenging terrain and lush vegetation, it requires control rather than power. It is rated at 70.1, total length is 6,022 yards. The longest hole is 564 yards, and the shortest is 153 yards.
Visit Phantasea Tropical Garden
A unique and beautiful wildlife sanctuary that is well worth leaving the coast for. There are walking trails with educational signage. Abundant orchids and other flora, coexist with hummingbirds, bananaquits (cute, nectar-eating birds), lizards, and tortoises.
