The anchorages on St. Thomas – South Coast:

Overview

Nazareth Bay is situated on St. Thomas Island. The condos on this bay are all situated on a steep hill. Jersey Bay is located in the southern part of Nazareth bay. The steep climb is rewarded by the mesmerizing views when you look through your window. The sunset is something to watch out for here as are the beautiful beaches and welcoming people.

In the fall, the Columbus Day Regatta brings sailors to Jersey bay to race in its waters. The Regatta started in 1996 and has become a vital part of the island’s calendar.

Beaches

Secret Harbor Beach

Secret Harbor might be a small beach, but it is the perfect beach. Snorkeling, swimming, parasailing, name it, this beach provides it. It is hidden in a protected bay, so the water is always calm and perfect for families. The Palm trees at the shore are the perfect shade for beachgoers, and the suspended hammocks are perfect for relaxing or taking pictures. In the middle of the bay, a floating raft adds to the excitement of this beach.  It serves as a place to sunbathe or as a diving board. Secret Harbor has a restaurant and a beach bar that provides yummy food all year long.
