Location
St. Croix Marina and Boatyard is located on the E side of Gallows Bay in the general area of Christiansted Harbor. It is found on the north shore of St Croix island, the largest of the ones making up the U.S Virgin Islands in the Caribbean. It is located near more anchorage points that yacht charters can choose to make use of during their trip.
Navigation
St Croix Marina and Boatyard offers a fuelling station and other services such as showers, electricity and a chandlery. There are docks for 44 boats for vessels up to 125ft and you will also enjoy access to free WiFi.
The office (VHF 16) is opposite the dock in a building combining a bar-restaurant and the small chandlery. The workshops and boatyard are to the left as you look inland. The boatyard has a travel lift as well as specialist services. Keep in mind that St Croix Marina is the only specialist yacht repair and maintenance spot on the whole island.
The customs and immigration offices are located about 100m south of the dock on the shore of the small basin called Gallows Bay. Here is where the ferries from St Thomas come.
Chandlers Wharf Shopping center can be found on the other side of the road from Gallows Bay and there are various shops and restaurants with easy access for your shopping. On the S end of the marina, a superyacht quay is under construction.

Altona Lagoon Beach
Altona Lagoon is one of two unique locations on the island of St Croix where visitors can witness bioluminescent bays. If you are planning to visit, make sure to check ahead since both the time of year and moon phase play a role. Sea Through Kayaks VI offer glass-bottom kayak tours of Salt River Bay and Altoona Lagoon (at certain times of the year) for visitors.
