Shorter stays: weekly rate ÷ 7 × nights. All prices generated as a guide. Availability subject to confirmation. Gratuity is at the charterer’s discretion.
Variable expenses — fuel, food, marina fees — are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), an additional deposit added to the charter price. The remainder is returned after charter.

Raised on Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands, Captain Tate Hempel brings a lifetime of local knowledge and over 8 years of yachting experience to every charter. An RYA Yacht Master with extensive sailing experience, including multiple Atlantic crossings, Tate combines professional expertise with a relaxed, welcoming personality.
His deep connection to the BVI allows him to introduce guests to secluded anchorages, pristine beaches, scenic hiking trails, and authentic island experiences. Whether teaching watersports, sharing local traditions, or preparing fresh seafood, Tate loves creating memorable adventures tailored to each guest.
When he's not sailing, Tate enjoys working on his own sailboat, spending time with his dogs, and reading. Above all, he hopes guests leave their charter with unforgettable memories and the feeling they've made a lifelong friend in the islands.
