Offered by DMA Yachting, the astonishing charter yacht AURORA is a 83 ft motor yacht. The main attractions of AURORA are her absolute comfort and culinary experience. AURORA spends the season in US Virgin Islands. She was constructed by recognized shipbuilder Moonen in 2004. A succesful refit was completed in 2021. The well-planned yacht layout features 4 large cabins and comfortably accommodates a maximum of 8 guests.
AURORA is classified as a superyacht. The key part of the yacht, generously sized aft deck, leads to the attractive and sleek main salon. ALL CABINS ARE LOCATED ON THE LOWER DECKThe lower deck has accommodation for up to 8 guests overnight in 4 spacious cabins which include a master with walk-in-robe and ensuite, VIP double with ensuite, starboard double (twin conversion) with ensuite with a separate door that allows access from the lower deck corridor to the port twin.

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a motor yacht like AURORA, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price (A$22,500 - A$36,000), making the charter cost A$112,500 to A$126,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Captain – Peter Dodson
Captain Peter Dodson has experience in the Maritime industry spanning generations that began on the New England Coast of America in Connecticut where his family owned a boatyard. He worked on foreign going Superyachts from 2004 - 2008, traversing the Atlantic between the Caribbean, USA and Europe on vessels such as Va Bene, Keiki Kei and Bel Mare. Most recently Peter discharged his command honourably aboard the Australian Luxury Superyacht Corroboree 1 following a busy 3 years operating charters along the East Coast with diverse clients such as Red Bull, Australian Defence Force, Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Christian Dior. He possesses a great passion for the industry and takes pride in being able to deliver a comfortable, adventurous, safe and memorable experience to our clients.

Danni arrived from South Africa early this year.
She is fun loving, energetic and has a passion for the outdoors. She was a professional dancer in South Africa and loves everything to do with movement and a passion for health and fitness. Danni has a wonderful personality and lights up a room with her smile. She attended the University of Pretoria in 2018 and completed her degree. She has an incredible attention to detail and an uncanny ability to anticipate your every need.
