LA VIE EST BELLE Yacht Description
*Photos are of a Sistership until La Vie est Belle arrives*
The Bali 5.4 is a "Multihull of the Year" award-winning catamaran. The design was new to the market in 2019 and provided a fresh approach to sailing. It is revolutionary in how space is accessed, with deliberate attention to flow and open space and it succeeds in producing a scale that feels less like a boat, and more like an upscale floating condominium.
Bali catamarans are known and appreciated for their unparalleled success in blending luxury, space, and performance; producing a sailing experience that is unparalleled. This new design further capitalizes on that reputation with the advent of the "Bali garage door" that is the centerpiece of the yacht. It allows for the aft wall of the yacht to simply disappear, opening up the back of the yacht to an unobstructed view of paradise. This also affords indoor/outdoor dining options and gives the ever-present Caribbean breeze ample opportunity to make its way through the yacht with ease.
With her solid foredeck gone are the forward trampolines, replaced by a large relaxing lounge area complete with cushions for sunbathing. A full-sized door provides access directly from the lounge area into the salon, allowing free movement through the yacht. A walk up to the flybridge unveils a seating area perfect for cocktails and taking in sunsets. There is also another area for sunbathing on the flybridge where you can take in the sights of the islands from the highest vantage point on the yacht.
The Bali open space design is further complimented by the superior outfit and aftermarket items available on La Vie est Belle. No detail has been left unnoticed from the fine linens, pillows and throws to the wine glasses, serving and flatware that make every day feel luxurious. She has been stocked full with every appliance and kitchen accessory to allow the chef to fully showcase the mastery of their art. And the water toys abound, allowing guests to fully experience all the Caribbean has to offer, both in and out of the water.
La Vie est Belle will accommodate 8 charter guests in 3 spacious queen cabins and 1 sprawling master cabin for those who desire more space. She is a 2024 sailing catamaran with SeaDek, hard top, hydraulic lift, solar panels, air conditioning, water maker, ice maker, full sized refrigerator, fully customizable menu, ecofriendly and reef safe toiletries, a bar stocked to guest preference, coffee/espresso machine, rendezvous scuba diving, snorkeling gear, underwater scooters, wakeboard, stand up paddle board, 10 ft. floating dock, pool noodles, fishing gear, board and card games, television in the salon, Fusion 3 Bluetooth enabled sound system and La Vie est Belle giveaways.
Offered by DMA Yachting, the impressive charter yacht LA VIE EST BELLE is a 55 ft sailing catamaran. The most appealing features of LA VIE EST BELLE are her absolute comfort and alfresco dining areas. LA VIE EST BELLE spends the summer and winter season in US Virgin Islands. She was constructed by recognized shipbuilder Bali Catamarans in 2024. The spacious yacht layout features 4 cozy cabins and comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests.
LA VIE EST BELLE is classified primarily as a sailing catamaran. The central space of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is generous, with a prominent dining and seating area and that's where the guests spend most of their time. Crew Information
Captain: Pepijn Burgers
Captain: Pepijn Burgers
Pepijn has been sailing for as long as he can remember. In fact, the first time he was put on a sailboat was as an infant sitting in a car seat, of course, being tied to a fender for safety purposes! Growing up, his love for sailing only grew stronger and by the time he was thirteen, he was cruising the North Sea on a small boat with his brother.
Yachting isn't just a hobby for Pepijn, it's a lifelong passion. Over the years, he has collected various sailing licenses and certifications, and has turned his love for the sea into a professional career. During his time at university, he spent his summers sailing the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, taking international trips all over Europe.
After realizing that a traditional desk job was not where he was suited, he decided to follow his heart and make sailing his full-time career. This decision has led him on some incredible adventures, and he is thrilled to be sharing his love for the sea with guests. He looks forward to creating unforgettable memories on the water together.

Chef: Nicole Aldenkamp
Nicole has been immersed in the world of hospitality and catering for the past decade. Cooking has always brought her into her most happy place; whether it's whipping up a feast for friends and family, or hosting lively dinner parties. There is something magical about bringing people together over a great meal.
Nicole has also been sailing since she was a child. Growing up, she spent countless hours on the water with family and friends, and quickly became the go-to person for creating delicious meals onboard. This passion for cooking at sea led her to spend any amount of spare time she had within these last few years to sail around the Mediterranean and gain her culinary skills professionally.
This work aboard yachts eventually inspired her to quit her full-time job managing a hospitality company and follow her dream of becoming a full-time chef in the beautiful Caribbean Islands. She can't wait to share her love for food and hospitality and welcomes guests to join her for some amazing culinary adventures and excellent dining experiences!
