DANTE Yacht Description

Advertised by DMA Yachting, the breathtaking charter yacht DANTE is a 54 ft sailing catamaran. The main attractions of DANTE are her most appealing features and inviting socializing areas. DANTE spends the summer and winter season in US Virgin Islands. She was delivered by the ship builder Bali Catamarans in 2023. The well-planned yacht layout features 4 cozy cabins and easily accommodates a maximum of 8 guests.

DANTE is offered primarily as a sailing catamaran. The yacht layout radiates from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is expansive, with a comfortable dining and seating area and that's where most of the delicious meals are served. The modern cabins are located in the 2 massive hulls. The cabins are located below the main saloon, connected by stairs (inquire about handicapped access). Multiple portholes add to the feeling of connection with the discovered environment.

Captain Inki (Jeffrey) -

Captain Inki (Jeffrey Fitting) is an adventurous sort born in the United States who normally resides in Te Wai Pounamu of Aotearoa. He regularly spends time away from sailing exploring the Amazon jungle where he works and lives in remote villages with indigenous peoples. Otherwise, you'll find him climbing the Andes and Southern Alps, wandering amongst their majestic peaks. A well-seasoned traveler, he's traveled throughout the South Pacific, Southeast Asia, South America and Europe.

An ocean-going voyager through and through, he has crossed over 30,000 nautical miles of the deep blue. Much of his seamanship has been made through long passages to and from remote islands nestled within the Pacific Ocean. He currently holds a USCG Master's Near Coastal license rated at 100-tons with auxiliary sail as well as assistance towing endorsements. A professional PADI Dive Master, he loves to spend time beneath the surface whether it be to admire coral or hunt for his next meal.

If you are not able to catch him exploring the underwater wonders, you'll find him wandering remote paths across the mountainous islands he frequents. Always keen to share an adventure, he loves sharing these these foot-trodden tracks with others.

There's nothing he enjoys more than being able to share a patch of paradise with others. Whether it be as a hiking guide in the mountains, a conservationist protecting critically endangered species or sailing upon warm tropical waters there's surely an adventure to be had and a few yarns to be spun.

Chef Mindy -

Raised in the historic coastal town of Charleston, South Carolina. Mindy grew up with a love and passion for all things ocean related! Her hometown is full of southern hospitality, art, history and FOOD! She worked in hospitality tourism on Kiawah and Seabrook Islands for 5 years. Mindy studied Biology from the College of Charleston and received her bachelor’s of Science Diploma in 2015 . She pursued biomedical laboratory research after graduation for 3 years. Desiring a salty life and ready to get a tan after years under fluorescent lights, she bought a boat and taught herself how to sail. She has since sailed as a first mate through the Bahamas, Caribbean Sea, San Blas Islands and has crossed the Panama Canal. Desiring a life at sea, she went to Sea School in 2019 for an STCW. She has worked as a Yacht Chef for over 4 years and was trained by Michelin Star Chefs at Ashburton Culinary Academy in the UK in 2021. Mindy has a gentle southern charm that allows you to relax, laugh, be close to nature and feel right at home with a full belly and a refreshing cocktail in hand. She loves to add that extra touch to make sure families and friends onboard are making memories that last a lifetime! She is also working towards a Captains License.
